Dragons Abreast Celebrates 25 Years of Paddling

Trent-Severn Waterway Fundraising Adventure

DA Logo 2012 colour.jpg
Dragons Abreast, Toronto’s first breast cancer survivor dragon boat team, combines a love of paddling with the goal of giving back to our community.

For our 20th anniversary in 2017, we paddled 100 km of the Rideau Canal and raised $20,000 for a local cancer charity, thanks to donors like you!

For our 25th anniversary, we want to paddle further and raise more.  We're going to paddle 125 km of the Trent-Severn Waterway from June 16 to June 21, and this time, we want to raise $25,000.

But, we can’t do it alone.

You can help us reach our goal! This time, the money will go to an amazing Canada-wide registered charity, the Breast Cancer Support Fund.

Help Us Give Back!

The truth about breast cancer is that the financial burden can be just as devastating as the physical and emotional impact.

With your help, we can make a real difference!

Every dollar we raise will go to the Breast Cancer Support Fund, a registered charity providing short-term financial support to patients struggling to cover costs such as food, shelter and medication on their journey to wellness.

A portion of each donation will be directed towards supporting members of Canada’s Indigenous communities diagnosed with breast cancer.

All donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
